Toronto-born professional female, 24, back in Canada after completing an overseas contract, is looking to unpack her bags downtown.
Open to a number of situations, including shared accomodations, a sublet or a self-contained apartment.
Also available to pet- or plant-sit for short to long term (in exchange for reduced/free rent or a negotiable fee, depending on maintenance required). I would be happy to provide references from previous home-sitting arrangements upon request.
The ideal accomodations would fall into the "box" bordered by Bloor (N), Bathurst (W), King (S) and Church (E). Although I'm not one to insist upon staying entirely within the lines, I really like to bike/walk, so I don't want to live too far away from the downtown core. I would be particularly interested in the areas in/around Kensington Market northward up to Bloor St. (i.e., near Bathurst, Spadina, or St. George stations). Location, location, location, right?
That said, these are also musts:
-friendliness (i.e., if there are roommates, preferably also 20s to early 30s, they know/trust/respect one another - even better if they actually have conversations, share meals together on occasion, etc.). Laid-back attitude + a good dose of consideration = major brownie points.
-affordability (Don't worry; I will always pay bills on time. However, I am working on a pretty limited budget right now, and am trying not to blow the bank on rent.)
-not disgusting (i.e., no mold, built-up dirt, perpetually unwashed dishes or icky pests)
-no tobacco smoke in the house(allergies)
